[a partial list of falling] centers around an artist book of the same name, that interweaves drawings, historical paintings, photographs, and writing in the telling of a near death experience. Bookended by the large paintings Mistress and Nova, the exhibit continues a process of integrating drawing and painting while exploring ideas of upside-down, twisting in and radiating out, sighted/sightless/and insight, wet and dry, bright and dark, flat and deep space, the barely discernable, and the dismantling of the realm of appearances.
